The decision by Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the CIA marks a new low in an administration rapidly heading downhill. MC is not assured by reports that the special prosecutor's "mandate . . . . will be relatively narrow: to look at whether there is enough evidence to launch a full-scale criminal investigation of current and former CIA personnel who may have broken the law in their dealings with detainees." It boggles the mind that we have come to this.
