Janet Beihoffer Resigns As Chair Of CD 2

MC was distressed to learn that the capable, competent and courageous Janet Beihoffer has resigned her position as Chair of CD 2 effective 10/31/09. Click on the images above to read her resignation letter. More on what is behind this step backward for CD 2 and the RPM shortly.

Discretion hat-tip: Co-defendant

Janet is/was the best CD Chair in the RPM. Her leadership will be sorely missed!

Republicans are turning into Democrats with all the in-fighting and will lose the chance for a real pendulum swing if this doesn't stop!

There just aren't that many women in the Republican party, especially in leadership. To lose a women leader is a sad day for the Party. We just need every single one of us to reach out to our fellow women...

I am very sorry to see that she resigned...as she seemed like a tough cookie.

Total shock to me. I will miss her energy and personality at the state exec meetings as well as other events. This is a big loss for the party.

Maybe now John "Bailout" Kline who voted to give our country to Bankers can lose his nomination and we can get someone in there who is a true American and not a traitor to our country. Janet Beihoffer has been instrumental in assisting John Kline's treasonous bailout activities. He should really be brought up on charges of treason with other traitors who voted for the bailout. Janet Beihoffer has certainly aided and assisted treason by assisting John "Bailout" Kline.

WOW! Anonymous, what planet are you from? If you are going to attack someone, anyone, have the guts to use your real name. The MN GOP lost a real asset when Janet Beihoffer resigned. Best of luck to Janet and thank you for your dedication. Joe Repya

What do you care Repya? You got tired of losing all the time and when it became clear to even you that your bloodthirsty ideas weren't in favor you took your toys and went home. I should, I suppose, also point out that you wrote a cry baby letter to the PP. Too bad you didn't take those other lunatics like Charlie Makidon and Andy Aplikowski out the door with you.

Hey, Tommy Paine (in the a--), Good to hear from you again. Hadn't heard much from you since you called all the Veterans "Communists" in the PP. Why don't you use your real name in your postings. We all know who you are anyway and your fooling no one. You're the guy under Tony's skirt with the chapstick in his hand. You should probably spend more time studying law now that you passed the BAR, so you could stop losing cases and improve your reputation as a 4th tier lawyer. During the short time that I have known Janet B., I have never had the opportunity to meet and know a more knowledgeable lady. She has done more for the party than anyone in a long time. Her departure will certainly be a great loss to the 2nd CD. Janet, keep in mind that real conservatives know and respect you and what you have accomplished for us. Keep your chin up and may our paths cross again. Sincerely, Charlie

Janet's resignation - for whatever reason - is a loss not just to CD2 but to all CD's in the state. She was the voice of reason and common sense ideas - and ideals- on the board. she believes in the grass roots but never would ask someone to do what she herself would not do - and that is true leadership. In the short time that I have know her she has indeed WALKED her TALK. She was/is still/ a role model for me.
Her questions at State Executive will be missed. Her leadership in the State Party will be difficult to replace. Thanks to a Sincerely Classy Lady

Charlie:

Remember when you said this:

"I was wounded once in Vietnam"

Source: Minnesota Daily, 6/7/2004

You have still not produced your purple heart, or any evidence that you were in fact wounded, or even in Vietnam. There is nothing more disgusting than someone who parades around as a wounded vet who is actually not.

It's difficult to conceive anything more insulting to those veterans who have fought for our freedoms and have been wounded than someone who lies about being being wounded.

When, where and how were you wounded? Our wounded vets deserve an answer. Most people reading what you said would construe it as an assertion that you were wounded in combat in Vietnam. Please give our vets the details so they can be sure you are not lying to get attention. How disgusting.

Thomas Paine said...

Real heroes don't need to brag to get attention. People like Makidon and Richard Glasgow aren't heroes so they have to make a show of themselves to try to get positive attention. Glasgow cares more about making himself look good than really doing anything for the troops. I will give them some credit though, at least they had the guts to go to the anti-Nathan Hansen protest. Andy Aplikowski said he was going to go and then chickened out.

To Granada; First of all, I owe nothing to anyone who hides behind a pseudo name. Second, I have my documents in my back pocket at all times proving my disability status and will show them to any vet who wants to see them, in person. And third, very few disabled veterans have purple hearts. That is a distinguished award of which I am not a recipient. The article in the Minnesota Daily is a complete misquote as it states I was commander of the VFW which I never was. However I was wounded in Viet Nam. I am a former commander of DAV, St. Paul chapter 2. Again, I have nothing to prove to a phoney and will be more than happy to provide documentation in person to any vet so desiring. Who are you to be asking for me to prove my disabilities to other veterans. Real veterans know better. You have lashed out at me before on this issue and until you come out from behind the mask you are hiding behind, Shut your f-----g mouth, MNGOP PUNK. Charlie Makidon

Thomas Paine said...

Makidon, you are doing exactly what would be expected of someone caught in a lie. How were you wounded in Vietnam? Was it combat?

Grenada Vet said...

The Stolen Valor Act of 2005 makes it a federal offense to lie about military service. I hope Homeland Security continues watching Charlie Makidon very carefully.

Looks like he's caught in a lie on this one. There is a special place in Leavenworth for people who lie about their military service. It's where they test out techniques for use on the dangerous terrorists at Gitmo.

Thomas Paine said...

I think Makidon has a pretty good insanity defense. I don't think they'll put him in Leavenworth.

Have known Charlie many years, known him to be many things---but never a liar, I thought this posting was about Janet resigning as CD 2 Chair.
